Agility

Zayko was founded in early 2000 in Brookline, Massachusetts by web designer/developer Virginia Sotirova (Gina). It is a collaboration between her, independent contractors, and other companies. When needed, partners are selected specifically for each project. This arrangement is a clear advantage for our clients, since “small” in this case equals more “efficient” and more “flexible.” It allows us to offer a full range of custom-made web solutions and keep overhead expenses down.

Purpose

About Virginia Sotirova (Gina)

Gina has eight years of professional experience designing and developing commercial and nonprofit websites. Her unique mix of enthusiasm, skills and experience is an invaluable benefit for Zayko’s clients. She has spent nearly a decade expanding her knowledge and abilities. Gina studied Information Science at the University of Michigan and graphic design at The Art Institute of Boston. She holds a M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from Sofia University and a Certificate in Web Design and Development from Boston University.

Gina won an Interactive Media Outstanding Achievement Award for her work on Releasechimps.org and was profiled in CREATE Magazine’s main editorial feature (Branding Your Creative Business, Fall 2005).
